ACE Money Transfer is seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry Officer to join our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should have a background in accounting, a strong command of written English, and excellent data management skills. This role involves accurate data entry, processing financial transactions, and ensuring the integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and maintain financial data in accounting systems with high accuracy.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial records.
  • Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and financial statements as required.
  • Assist in generating and reviewing financial documents for errors or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to obtain necessary financial information.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
  • Support the accounts team in administrative and clerical tasks.

Requirement

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months to 1-year prior experience in data entry, accounting, or finance is preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally) and MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify and correct errors in financial data.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience working in an accounts department or financial environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and tax policies.
