Assistant Accountant

Job Description

Meds Nexus is a leading medical billing company based in Rawalpindi, dedicated to streamlining healthcare financial processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our finance team as an Account Assistant. Create Invoices:

Generate accurate and timely invoices for services rendered to clients. Ensure all necessary details (client information, service descriptions, pricing, dates) are included.

Maintain Accounts Receivable:

Track and manage all incoming payments. Follow up on overdue accounts and handle collections processes. Record and reconcile payments received.

Reconcile Ledger:

Regularly reconcile the ledger to ensure accuracy in financial records. Identify and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare regular financial reports related to accounts receivable (e.g., aging reports).

Manage Client Accounts:

Maintain accurate records of client accounts. Ensure all transactions are recorded and updated in the system.

Handle Client Queries:

Address and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies raised by clients. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and organized financial records related to accounts receivable. Ensure all data is entered into the accounting software correctly.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and manage cash flow as it relates to accounts receivable.

05:30 PM to 02:30 AM (night shift)

Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month

Requirement

Technical Accounting Skills: Proficiency in accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures. Experience with invoicing and billing.

Financial Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage). Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets). Competency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain precise records and data entry.

Customer Service Skills: Experience in providing excellent customer service. Ability to handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Financial Reporting Skills: Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports. Experience in generating financial statements and reports.

Data Management Skills: Proficiency in managing and maintaining financial records. Experience in data entry and record keeping.
