The Assistant Manager – Technical (HVAC) is responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance
of HVAC systems for data centers, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves supervising project execution, reviewing designs,
performing load calculations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the planning, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, Split Units, Ducting Systems, etc.).
Conduct load calculations, system design evaluations, and BOQ preparations based on project requirements.
Review HVAC design drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Liaise with consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely project execution and quality control.
Perform root cause analysis and provide engineering solutions for HVAC performance issues.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all HVAC equipment.
Maintain complete documentation, including inspection reports, testing & commissioning reports, and maintenance logs.
Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements for HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client-specific requirements.
Reporting Responsibilities
Report to the GM Technical regarding project progress, issues, and technical matters.
Prepare and submit installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance reports.
Maintain documentation including BOQs, drawings, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors, providing management with updates on timelines and quality standards.
Requirement
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Graduate candidates may also apply.
Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local HVAC codes.
Strong understanding of HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning.
Proficiency in load calculations and BOQ preparation.
Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Project supervision and coordination skills.

Required Experience
4–6 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Experience working on data centers, commercial buildings, or large industrial projects.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
