Job Description
The Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Punjab is hiring for the position of Potential Teachers under the project “Establishment of Adult Literacy Centers in Punjab.”
As a Potential Teacher, you will play a key role in improving literacy rates across the province by delivering basic education to adult learners in local communities.
- Teach adult learners using approved literacy materials and structured lessons.
- Conduct regular classes and maintain attendance records for enrolled students.
- Assess learning progress and report outcomes to the District Literacy Officer.
- Encourage learners to continue education and promote awareness in nearby areas.
- Ensure a positive and respectful learning environment for all participants.
The role requires dedication, community engagement, and a passion for education. You will help create opportunities for adults who missed early education and support their journey toward literacy and empowerment.
Requirement
- Age: 18 to 55 years.
- Gender: Open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates.
- Qualification: Minimum Matriculation with at least 50% marks. Candidates with FA or a Graduate degree in Computer Science will be preferred.
- Domicile: Punjab domicile is required.
- CNIC: Must have a valid Computerized National Identity Card.
- Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 per month.
