Mechanical Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) framework, ensuring all preventative actions are carried out promptly, aligned with NFL guidelines, customer stipulations, and industrial benchmarks.
• Oversee the calibration, administration, configuration, and maintenance of designated equipment/machinery, following SOPs. Ensure equipment/machinery are set, calibrated, and adjusted to meet production specifications.
• Inspect and assess the effectiveness and quality of mechanical systems and components through operational tests, observing functionality, detecting irregularities, and promptly reporting these to the Supervisor Maintenance.
• Resolve daily technical issues on production lines, ensuring compliance with production procedures and process specifications, including planned, breakdown/corrective, and shutdown maintenance, to minimize downtime in business operations.
• Perform mechanical fabrication, repairs, and modifications as required, utilizing well-maintained tools and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, installation, and repair activities, ensuring comprehensive documentation for future reference.
• Identify opportunities to optimize systems, suggesting enhancements or updates to existing control arrangements when necessary.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, standards, and regulations, notifying the Supervisor Maintenance of potential health hazards and risks in mechanical systems/equipment.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in maintenance to ensure NFL adopts best practices consistently.

Background Requirements

• Education: Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
