Technical and Support Staff – 606 Regional Workshop EME Gilgit

Commandant 606 Regional Workshop EME, Gilgit, is inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for various technical and support staff positions on a permanent basis. Candidates with relevant education and practical experience are encouraged to apply within the specified period.

Available posts include HSM Vehicle Mechanic, HS-I and HS-II Vehicle Mechanic, HS-II Denter, HS-II Electroplater, SS-I Vehicle Mechanic, and Gate Keeper. Selected individuals will perform technical maintenance, repair, and operational support duties related to vehicles, equipment, and workshop operations under the supervision of qualified officers.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in military and workshop vehicles.
• Maintain and service heavy and light vehicles following technical standards.
• Carry out denting, electroplating, and fabrication work as required.
• Ensure tools and machinery are properly handled and maintained.
• Assist senior technicians in repair and overhaul tasks.
• Support administrative or gatekeeping duties as per assigned role.

HSM Vehicle Mechanic (B Vehicle) – BPS-10

• Intermediate education with the ability to prepare dimensioned sketches and technical drawings.
• Thorough expertise in all branches of the trade and practical mechanical experience.
• Three-year diploma in Automobile Technology preferred.
• Experience in repair of heavy and light vehicles will be an advantage.

HS-I Vehicle Mechanic (B Vehicle) – BPS-07

• F.Sc with practical experience in vehicle mechanics.
• Three-year diploma in Automobile Technology preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in repair and maintenance.

HS-II Denter – BPS-06

• Matric with Science.
• Three-year diploma in Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Experience in denting, painting, and repair of vehicles is required.

HS-II Electroplater – BPS-06

• Matric with Science.
• Minimum five years of experience in Nickel Polish and Hard Chrome of cylinder, jack, and rotor.

SS-I Vehicle Mechanic (B Vehicle) – BPS-04

• Primary qualification required.
• Three-year diploma in Construction Machinery with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Preference will be given to experienced candidates and retired JCO/NCO from Armed Forces.

Gate Keeper – BPS-07

• Matric qualification required.
• Preference for candidates with military or security experience.

Age limit for all posts is 18–30 years. Age relaxation applies for special categories: 3 years for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, 10 years for disabled persons, 5 years under PM Package, 15 years for retired Armed Forces personnel, and 10 years for government employees up to 55 years of age.
