ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Accounts Officer to join our team at Trade Visions International. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Primary Duties:

  • Document and organize receipts, invoices and financial transactions.
  • Support the accounting manager with bookkeeping tasks.
  • Ensure regular, accurate updates to Excel-based cash receipt logs.
  • Create cost summaries and other financial reports.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing.
  • Maintain vendor and customer records in accounting software.
  • Prepare documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Perform general administrative and accounting functions as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process payments, vouchers and bank deposits accurately.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning activities.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and update entries as required.
  • Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Monitor company cash flow and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Requirement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA).
  • 1 year of accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to professional development.
