Assistant Manager Operations

Job Description

- Prepare all agriculture operational reports.

- Streamline operational data in a timely manner and provide it to the line manager and finance department.

- Liaise with operations team and supervisors for daily data collection.

- Ensure all data is maintained with proper supporting documents.

- Maintain error-free reporting. - Share crop updates (photos, videos, and activities) in WhatsApp groups.

- Keep operational data updated daily to ensure availability for the line manager whenever required.

- Record sowing, harvesting, fertilizers, sprays, and medicines in the farm log book for each crop.

- Stay updated on new agriculture technologies and practices, and share with the line manager.

- Ensure the farm team records their daily data professionally in respective data books.

- Submit operational reports to the line manager and finance department on time.

- Stay informed about daily farm activities.

- Follow all SOPs before and after each crop, ensuring planning, analysis, and execution with the farm manager.

- Coordinate closely with farm manager, supervisors, laborers, and farmers.

- Be flexible and available to visit the farm as needed.

- Update all paper-based data into digital records promptly.

- Gather, collate, and prepare documents, materials, and information for data entry.

- Respond to information requests and access relevant files when needed.

- Verify the accuracy of source documents.

- Maintain confidentiality of all records and comply with data integrity/security policies.

- Ensure reports are accurate, properly formatted, and submitted daily at day-end.

- Maintain proper physical filing in adherence to SOPs.

- Perform other tasks for OBH Farms as required.

Requirement

- Strong knowledge of agricultural operations and practices.

- Ability to prepare detailed reports and ensure accuracy.

- Proficiency in data entry (both paper-based and digital).

- Familiarity with fertilizers, sprays, sowing, and harvesting processes.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Knowledge of agriculture technologies and willingness to stay updated.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

- Flexibility to visit farms as needed.

- Teamwork skills to coordinate with farm managers, supervisors, and laborers.

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain error-free reporting.

- Competence in using digital tools for reporting and communication (e.g., WhatsApp, spreadsheets).
