Assistant Manager/Manager Green Banking

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join our team as Assistant Manager / Manager – Green Banking. This role will play a key part in managing the Bank’s sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and developing innovative green banking products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the Bank’s Green Banking / Environmental & Social Management Policy in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct and support ESG risk assessments in credit proposals.
• Plan, execute, and monitor sustainability projects including renewable energy financing and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare reports for internal and regulatory purposes, including annual green banking reports.
• Maintain databases on green finance disbursements, carbon footprint, and related KPIs.
• Organize awareness sessions, training programs, and promotional campaigns on green products.
• Contribute to the design and promotion of eco-friendly banking solutions (e.g., green loans, solar financing).
• Collaborate with internal teams, NGOs, government bodies, and other stakeholders on sustainability projects.
• Track and report performance indicators such as energy savings, paper reduction, and sustainable financing.
• Undertake field visits and project evaluations as required.
• Perform any other assignment given by management.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in a relevant discipline) from a reputable local or international university.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, green banking, or product development.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & Urdu).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
• Ability to manage projects and teams independently.
• Deep knowledge of sustainability and green product segments.
• Willingness to travel across Pakistan.
