Audit Officer (Construction Background)

We are looking for a meticulous Audit Officer with a solid background in construction to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed internal audits on both ongoing and completed construction projects to ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry standards, and contractual requirements. This role involves evaluating project costs, quality, timelines, and safety measures while maintaining transparency and accuracy in all audit reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of construction project documentation, including contracts and financial records.
• Perform site inspections to assess work quality, verify proper material usage, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Oversee procurement processes to confirm fair pricing and detect any discrepancies.
• Validate contractor bills, progress payments, and variation claims for accuracy and legitimacy.
• Identify risks, irregularities, and areas for improvement within construction operations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings clearly to management.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely corrective actions.

• ACCA qualification is mandatory.
• Master’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in auditing or project control within the construction sector.
• Proven track record of at least 3 years specifically in construction audit or project control.
• Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate to Lahore before starting employment.
• Willingness to work on-site at the designated location.

This is a full-time position based in Lahore, requiring physical presence at the workplace. The salary range for this role is Rs90,000 to Rs125,000 per month.
