Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Business Development Specialist & Trainer (BMS) to support training design, delivery, and MSME capacity-building within the potato and citrus value chains.

Requirement

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Agriculture, or a related field. PhD preferred.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
  • General Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development, financial management, MSME training, or private sector development.
  • Specific Experience: Demonstrated experience designing and delivering business management training for MSMEs (at least 5 assignments).
  • Country Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant project work within Pakistan.
  • Development Cooperation: Minimum 3 years of experience working with development cooperation agencies/projects.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with digital learning tools, remote training platforms, and knowledge-sharing methodologies.
  • Gender Integration: Demonstrated ability to integrate gender-sensitive approaches in training design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA) for Business Management Skills (BMS).
  • Develop curriculum and training modules tailored to MSMEs in key value chains.
  • Design and facilitate training sessions on business planning, financial management, and MSME growth.
  • Deliver hands-on training and workshops to MSME stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of digital learning video content.
  • Conduct targeted research on MSMEs in potato and citrus value chains.
  • Ensure gender-sensitive training methodologies and inclusive content.
  • Support knowledge sharing through remote tools and digital platforms.
