Cash Officer / Cashier

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer transactions using the cash register.
  • Scan items and verify accurate pricing.
  • Collect payments in cash or credit.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  • Process coupons and redeem stamps.
  • Promote and cross-sell products.
  • Assist and resolve customer complaints with professionalism.
  • Greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
  • Keep checkout areas clean and organized.
  • Record transactions, maintain balance sheets, and report discrepancies.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
