MANAGER OPERATIONAL RISK

Raqami Islamic Digital Bank is seeking a Manager Operational Risk with proven expertise in banking and financial services to strengthen our Risk Management team. This role offers excellent opportunities to shape risk management frameworks in Pakistan's innovative digital banking environment.

Risk Management Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain comprehensive Operational Risk Management Framework across the bank
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across all business departments and functions
• Conduct thorough Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and ensure regular updates
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and track loss events for proactive risk mitigation
• Partner with business units to embed operational risk practices in daily operations
• Ensure full compliance with SBP regulations, Basel standards, and internal governance policies
• Prepare comprehensive operational risk reports for senior management and regulatory authorities

• 5-7 years of proven experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including SBP regulations and Basel standards
• Experience in conducting RCSAs, monitoring KRIs, and managing operational risk frameworks
• Knowledge of Islamic banking principles and Shariah compliance preferred
• Excellent analytical and risk assessment capabilities
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting
• Professional certification in risk management (FRM, PRM) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
