SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Accounting Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive general ledger operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions with attention to accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow monitoring systems
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist in internal and external audit processes and documentation

Advanced Financial Functions

• Perform complex financial analysis and provide insights to management
• Manage cost accounting and project financial tracking systems
• Coordinate with external accountants and tax consultants as needed
• Support financial planning and strategic decision-making processes
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting practices

• Extensive experience in senior-level accounting and financial management roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Excel capabilities
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or relevant accounting certification
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
