Role Summary

The role involves adopting a holistic view of students, promoting their academic progress and well-being. You will foster a positive learning and sports environment while motivating students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all sports administration from Grade 1–12.
  • Meet and manage all safeguarding protocols and policies.
  • Coach at least one Reddford team per term, planning and delivering engaging sessions.
  • Teach a college subject alongside sports responsibilities.
  • Attend relevant sports tours as a coach or manager.
  • Support the ongoing development of the Sports Department, striving for best practice.
  • Serve the school community with professionalism and commitment.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, high standards of work, and professional behaviour.
  • Evaluate, reflect on, and develop personal and departmental practices.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as determined by School Heads.

Requirement

  • Appropriate educational qualifications and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as Head of Sport or Master in charge of a sport.
  • Level 2 First Aid training.
  • Strong ability to connect effectively with children.
  • A thorough understanding of the role and responsibilities.
  • Ability to serve as a positive role model.
  • Reflective and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong time management and professional standards.
  • Appropriate right to work status.
