IT Officer

Blue Group of Companies is seeking a skilled IT Officer to manage and maintain our information technology infrastructure and provide technical support to ensure smooth business operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and hardware equipment
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality of IT infrastructure
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data
• Perform regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
• Train staff on new systems, software, and IT best practices
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment
• Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support, or similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network administration
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus
