JUNIOR SQA ENGINEER

Position Overview: The Junior SQA Engineer will be responsible for executing manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality. This role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Position Duties & Qualifications:

• Assist in designing test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify software defects.
• Log and track issues, working closely with developers to resolve them.
• Participate in agile development processes and daily standups.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user stories.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using testing frameworks.
• Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and feature implementations.
• Document test results and prepare quality reports.
• Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automation tools.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
