Manager - Information Technology

An established organization based in Karachi is seeking a dynamic and energetic IT Manager to lead and optimize its information systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Guarantee the uptime and reliability of critical systems essential to business operations.
• Oversee the management and support of software applications, including ERP and CRM platforms, to meet organizational needs.
• Implement robust data protection measures to prevent security breaches and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
• Manage firewalls, antivirus systems, and conduct employee training programs focused on IT security best practices.
• Lead and supervise the IT support team, coordinating efforts with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Develop and enforce IT policies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Drive digital transformation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and automating processes.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity in case of system failures.
• Ensure adherence to data security compliance and international standards.

• A graduate or master’s degree in a relevant field is essential.
• Professional certifications related to IT management or cybersecurity are highly desirable.
• 8 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar IT managerial role, demonstrating strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems management.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance.
